Emily Kaneakua
Emily Kaneakua (she/her) is an educator with over 10 years of experience in providing administrative and programming support for universities, nonprofits, and local businesses. Residing on Dakhóta land (Minneapolis, MN), she has a passion for staying educated on neighborhood issues such as civil rights, housing insecurity, and economic equality through grass roots organizing and local community engagement. She is an avid supporter of BIPOC-led movements seeking restorative justice, and as a part of the Latinx community, she has been a long time advocate for eliminating the pay gap for Latina women. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and camping with her wife and their dog, spending time with family, and traveling to new and familiar places.
